BBS - Kitesurfing Okinawa

Hello, I have been here in okinawa for about 2 years now and I am completely board with everything. I have about a year left and honestly most of the stuff i have did on island hasnt been filled with that much excitement. A buddy told me about Kiteboarding after I saw a guy out on the water with a parachute type thing and asked what he was doing. well from what i have read and seen im pretty sure i will love it. I have some money to start and i will soon hopefully sign up for the lessons offered on island. Here is were i run into 2 problems, none of my freinds feel like doing anything fun to this extent, or there wives and what not wont let them or there broke etc, and i dont have means for transportation to these places that i know of. I am a Navy Corpsman living on Camp Kinser and any help on bus routes, and ppl to hang with would be a big help. O and i love this site btw, it has been very helpful so far. hope to see yall around

My name is Mike Davison and I'm a IKO certified kiteboarding instructor on island. If you need lessons and shown around the island for kite spots, let me know. The lessons are offered Sat/Sun weather permitting. Here's my mail address if you need more info. patriotkites@yahoo.com
